Hot-dip galvanizing
ADC Manufacturing is a leading provider of hot-dip galvanizing to customers throughout the central Midwest and beyond. We have been a reliable source of expert hot-dip galvanizing services since the 1970s, and our techniques and expertise have evolved with the industry. ADC can galvanize parts up to six feet in size to any ASTM specification, in a fully-equipped facility well-known for its ability to accomplish large-batch galvanizing jobs with speed, quality and efficiency. ADC’s hot-dip galvanizing is your best protection against environmental corrosion, and offers a low-cost alternative to other coating methods.
Visitors to ADC’s production facility witness the galvanizing process at its best. With a galvanizing kettle measuring 4 ft. wide, 6 ft. long and 4 ft. deep, each process cycle can accommodate dozens of parts, depending on size. All parts go through six stages of treatment. An initial caustic bath removes dirt, oil, grease and other impurities. Then, after a thorough rinsing, parts enter a five-percent sulfuric acid solution and second rinse before being immersed in a flux tank to remove oxides and to prevent oxidation. In the final step, they are dipped into a bath of molten zinc to add galvanized protection from rust and corrosion that will last for years.
ADC Manufacturing’s galvanizing methods are time proven and endorsed by a growing list of satisfied customers. Contact ADC Manufacturing today to see how they can assist you with your galvanizing needs.
